Door Entry Systems are used to easily allow guests into your premises and to keep unwanted visitors out. Door entry systems are available as audio only systems or with a built in camera for visual verification, which start from one door coverage kits all the way up to systems which are designed for multi-story flats and office blocks. They also come as standard kits and as vandal resistant and can be installed flush into the wall or surface mounted. On top of all this you can have a system with buttons only or you could have buttons as well as a keypad for coded entry or a built in proximity reader for fob or token entry.
Access Control can be very simple or extremely complex systems. A one door system would usually comprise of an external keypad, an internal exit button and an internal emergency call point. Larger systems can cover many doors and can be controlled by a computer. This allows the administrator to permit certain people into specific parts of a building at certain times and log what time staff are entering and leaving. |
